THE STORY: “Concerned that some of the lowest income schools systems in Texas and across the nation graduate less than 80% of their students? Ride with me this year as I bicycle 3,600 miles across the country to benefit Services of Hope – a Dallas educational non-profit that is doing the hard work of inspiring and enabling students to overcome their personal challenges, and connecting teachers and parents with resources to succeed at preparing their children and young people for life.” – Jason
MEET JASON: Jason Simpson currently supports Freescale Semiconductor in Austin Texas as a Financial Analyst. He has been considering a cross-country bicycle trip for some time, and could not think of a better cause to fundraise for than Services of Hope, where he interned during the summer of 2010 & 2011. His primary interests outside of cycling and supporting education for the next generation are data analysis and statistics. After 3,000 miles in the saddle this summer, he hopes to begin pre-requisites for a graduate degree in data analytics.
On April 25, Jason will begin biking a grand total of 3,600 miles across the country, and we ask that you assist his mission by donating $1 for every mile you support.
