How We Serve Our Community
Empowering families with education, support, and essential community services.
Homebuyer Education Class
Our first-time homebuyer workshop helps individuals understand the essentials of purchasing a home, from building strong credit to creating a realistic budget that supports long-term stability. Participants learn key mortgage basics, including loan types, interest rates, and down-payment options, to make informed decisions with confidence. The program also guides attendees through the approval process, providing practical steps and expert insights to help them qualify successfully and move toward homeownership with clarity and peace of mind.
Food Distribution
Our free food distribution program provides essential groceries to individuals and families facing food insecurity, offering regular access to nutritious items and vital community support. Through our year-round Connections program, we also supply emergency food, school supplies, diapers, and formula across the DFW Metroplex. In addition, we host large seasonal events during Thanksgiving and Christmas, providing full holiday meals and extended groceries to LMI families through strong partnerships with local schools, churches, and agencies.
Credit Counseling & Budget Planning
Our financial coaching program provides personalized credit guidance to help individuals strengthen their financial foundation and make informed decisions. Participants receive practical debt-reduction strategies designed to lower burdens and improve long-term financial health. We also offer tailored budgeting tools and one-on-one support, empowering individuals to build stability, manage expenses effectively, and move confidently toward their long-term financial goals.
